Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2020 Toyota Corolla. I'm gonna walk you through how to install the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness. Adding the vehicle wiring harness like this is gonna allow you, whether you have a cargo carrier that needs some extra lights because it covers your factory tail lights, or maybe you're pulling a small trailer, you need to get the light functions from the vehicle to the trailer. This is gonna allow you to do that. It's gonna give you your four-pole connection, which is your brake signal, both turn signals, and your running lights. more

Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2019 Toyota Corolla- Video
Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2019 Toyota Corolla, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness. So the wiring is going to transfer the lighting signals from the back of our Corolla to the back of your trailer. That's going to help keep you not only safe, but legal as well. It's going to provide us with our turn signals, our brake lights, as well as our running lights.So the wiring is going to put out 4.2 amps per circuit for your taillights, and 2.1 amps for your stop and turn signals. So more or less what that means is whether your trailer has numerous style LED bulbs, or even the traditional style incandescent bulbs, it's going to put on enough power to eliminate both of them. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2009 Toyota Corolla- Video
Today on our 2009 Toyota Corolla, we're going to be showing you how to install the tow-ready T1 vehicle wiring harness with four-pole flat trailer connector. Part number is 118459. Here's what our wiring kit is going to look like when we pull it out of our package. It's going to be our four-pole trailer connector. We're going to connect this to our trailer, cargo carrier, whatever it is that we need to have power to the lights to. Then it's going to have a dust cover that will slide on and protect that from the elements. Now that's going to run up to our control module here in the middle. This is going to take signals from both behind our driver's side taillight housing and our passenger's side taillight housing, brings them in, and it converts that into a usable signal for our trailer itself. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2011 Toyota Corolla- Video
Today, on our 2011 Toyota Corolla, well be installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, Part Number 55542. To begin our install, well first open up the rear cargo door and remove the spare tire cover. Next, well need to remove the rear threshold. To remove the rear threshold, well remove two pushpin fasteners and then gently pull up on the rear threshold unlocking the fasteners underneath.Now, well go ahead and set the thresholds aside and remove the two fasteners securing the carpet liner on the driver side. To remove the pushpin fasteners, you can either use a flat play screwdriver or a trim panel tool. After removing the fasteners here on the driver side, we can go ahead and pull back the carpeting and well expose the manufacturers wiring going in the back of the tail light assembly.Now well move over to the passenger side and repeat the same process. more
